Brought together by a love for adventure, travel, and big ideas, Isaac & Lauren form a dynamic duo of development and design. They’re building NEAR to aid and inspire travelers to engage in and support the local cultures they’re destine for, in all their journeys, all over the world. The Elmore's are the base of NEAR's Co-Founding operational team; Isaac, CEO and Developer | Lauren, Writer & Designer.
Bruce & Dale Woodall
The initial idea for NEAR was inspired by Isaac’s uncle Bruce, an altruistic M.D. who has spent many years traveling the globe with his wife Dale (also an M.D.) not only for the love of travel, but to bring medical care and education to at-risk communities. The Woodall's are NEAR's seed investors.
NEAR has been an official participating member of the Edinburgh-based business accelerator, The Startup Race, since March 2021, and to the entrepreneur scale-up support, WeDo Scotland, since April 2022.
